Support black lives today, tomorrow and in the future

This past weeks have seen atrocious acts committed against black people in our society. Black Lives Matter.

Here’s some suggestions of the way forward. This is what we’ve done and will continue to do.

Donate.

Donate to UK Black Lives Matter.

Donate to support the family of Belly Mujinga.

Campaign.

Sign petition to demand justice for Belly Mujinga.

Sign the petition to demand justice for George Floyd.

Sign the petition to demand the police officers involved with George Floyd’s deaath are arrested and charged with second degree murder.

Write: to your MP to ask them to support further investigation into Mujinga’s death.

Educate Yourself. Listen to black leaders, leaders of colour, learn from them. Watch TED talks. There are a host of TED talks on TED.com – How to be a good ally, 8 things you can do to fight white supremacy. Calling out racism, no matter how small.
